Nancy Kummen, who goes by "Miss Mermaid" to her swim students, is an award-winning, world class triathalite who is a certified swimming instructor and life guard in California, Hawaii, Washington and Arizona.

 

She operates Miss Mermaid's Swimming in Gilbert, AZ where she specializes in teaching children the fundamental skills for water safety. And her students are safer because of her lessons.
